 Termoefekt ® Expandable Polystyrol sheets.

EPS (Expanded Polystyrol) sheets are produced by cutting expandable polystyrol blocks, made in block templates by method of thermal expansion, in sheets of required sizes. Our enterprise produces them from superior quality raw materials supplied by the world’s leading raw material producers Styrochem Finland Oy and Basf, which together with the most advanced production technologies and regular testing of the produce in a certified laboratory, ensures the constantly high quality of Termoefekt ® output.

Raw materials contain antipirene additives, which make expandable polystyrol self extinguishing. Production of Termoefekt ® Expandable Polystyrol sheets is carried out in compliance with all relevant EU standards (find Requirements).

Our company offers the following types of sheets, sorted according to the pressure strength:

Eps 60
Eps 60 E - to be applied as heat insulation for walls and other areas not subject to considerable mechanical load. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 80
Eps 80 E - to be applied as heat insulation for walls and other areas not subject to considerable mechanical load. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 100
Eps 100 E - durable against mechanical load, to be applied as heat insulation for floors and roofs, may be applied to insulate underground parts of buildings. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 120
Eps 120 E - durable against mechanical load, to be applied as heat insulation for floors and roofs, may be applied to insulate underground parts of buildings. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 150
Eps 150 E - durable against mechanical load, to be applied as heat insulation for floors and roofs, may be applied to insulate underground parts of buildings. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 200
Eps 200 E - to be applied at places subject to considerable mechanical load: for example, heat insulation for floors in industrial premises. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.
Eps 250
Eps 250 E - to be applied at places subject to considerable mechanical load: as heat insulation for floors in industrial premises. Size of sheets is 1000x500 mm and thickness in standard packing are 50 mm or 100 mm. The thickness step available in orders is 10 mm in range between 10 mm and 1200 mm.

Dimensions of the sheets: 1000 mm x 500 mm in packages of 0.3 m3

If required, Eps 300 sheets can be made in sizes up to 4000 mm in length, 1250 in width, with thickness range from 20 mm to 1200 mm with an increment of 10 mm (other sizes possible as well).

Application of the heat-insulating material Termoefekt ®.

The heat-insulating material Termoefekt ® is produced from foamed expandable polystyrol and is used in building new constructions as well as in renovating already existing ones. Eps 60 and Eps 100 are applied for insulation of walls and facades. Eps 150 and Eps 200 are applied for insulation of floors, roofs and underground parts of buildings.

Quality requirements for heat-insulating materials produced by Termoefekt ® are based on the functional characteristics required from insulating materials of this kind in the range of their guaranteed application: heat conductivity, acceptable load, bending strength, moisture absorption, air and steam permeability and dimensional stability. Environment protection and fire safety requirements are always complied with. Fire-resistant products are usually marked with an additional letter F.

Termoefekt ® products from foamed expandable polystyrol are produced in conformity with Latvian standards LV EN 13163 and LV EN 13172. Title of a product includes a number showing the limit of pressure strength in accordance with standards for products from expandable polystyrol and the letter F stating that the product is flame-resistant.

For instance: EPS 60 E

Load that Termoefekt ® materials can endure depend on the type and range from 50 to 400 kPa.
